RSI-Design was contacted by Monoco Signs in Snowmass Colorado to help bring their designs for two yoga studio signs to life.

One of the criteria was that the finish on the signs needed to have the feeling of the foam yoga matts. We achieved this using a special painting process creating a very subtle but noticeable pattern and texture on the sign surfaces.

In addition, the “wood” looking material for the logos and letters needed to match the buildings surfaces. They were cut from Trespa, a man-made high-pressure laminate building panel material. Illumination was provided using adjustable LED puck lamps and concealed LED strip lighting. The signs themselves were all made from fabricated aluminum and mimicked a partially rolled yoga matt.
